Adode Donates School Materials To Public Schools

Determined to bring smiles to the faces of students and parents of public primary schools in Ughelli, the wife of the Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Council of Delta State, Chief Evelyn Adode, has presented school materials worth over one million naira to indigent students in the area.

Presenting the materials at Oharisi Primary School, Ughelli, the venue of the presentation, the donor, Mrs. Adode, said her philanthropist gesture was aimed to ameliorate the suffering parents and guardians are facing in the present day economic hardship.

“I felt I should come to the aid of parents and guardians at a time like this when hardship is looming in the country where parents cannot afford three square meals for their children and wards.

“Today we presented the first trash of school materials to one hundred and fifty (150) students from fifteen (15) public primary schools in the council area”.

While charging the pupils to make good use of the materials presented to them, she advised them to take their studies seriously and be obedient to their parents and teachers and abstain from any form of social vices.

“My candid advice to the beneficiary of my philanthropy gestures is for them to tame their studies seriously, be obedient to teachers and parents and stay out of trouble.

“Do not get involved in the evil going on in the world currently and keep away from bad friends; for evil communication corrupts good manners, say no to cultism and internet fraud,” she advised.
