Senior Pastor of Awaiting The Second Coming Of Jesus Christ Ministry, Adewale Giwa has called on Christians Association of Nigeria, the religious leaders to wake up from their slumber and save Nigerians.
In a statement handed over to News Desk on Friday, the cleric said it was a pity that the body of Christ had been deceived by some selfish politicians who want to waste people’s lives prematurely.
The outspoken pastor said the current situation had gone beyond any religious leader displaying pictures or videos to show Nigerians that “he is praying on the mountain or in his bedroom”
He said all hands must be on deck to speak out against the agents of the devil.
“Just as Apostle Paul wrote a letter to the church in Rome when the love of many was growing cold, I am calling on CAN and other religious leaders to wake up from their slumber and save the body of Christ.
“Of course we are all praying to God, but prayer without action is useless. Jacob took action to wrestle with God in Genesis 32:22-32 and his name was changed to Israel.
“Some of those you see as foremost religious leaders are disappointing Nigerians by keeping quiet on burning issues just because they have interest in one political party or the other.
“God will hold us accountable on the judgment day. Your money will perish, all your possessions will be forgotten and it will remain your relationship with God and humanity.
“When I said some people were just buying time to mandate us to be vaccinated three weeks ago, they didn’t believe me.
“Can you see the satanic bill Gbajabiamila and his few men are introducing to Nigerians? Why is it that the APC government does not consider the plight of Nigerians?
“The church is not feeding me, you can make inquiries about how I instructed the church leaders to be sharing tithes and offerings among the widows and the poor.
“When I cried out weeks ago that the church of God should be reopened, I knew what was coming.
“The first mission was to weaken the house of God which they have achieved by shutting it down.
“Other pastors who depend tithes and offerings could not have done what I’m doing. I am one of the few who believes that the tithes should be given to the widows, foreigners and fatherless according to Deuteronomy 14:28-29.”
