It is hereby announced for the information of the general public, particularly owners of property in the state, that Delta State Government has activated the special taskforce, tagged: ‘Operation Show Your Building Plan Taskforce’ to enforce compliance with the earlier notice of verification of approved building plans served on their property, which has been disregarded by such property owners.
The Taskforce will commence enforcement activities to ensure full compliance from Tuesday, June 29, 2021 in the state.
In view of this, property owners who have failed, neglected or refused to comply with the earlier notice of verification, as to take note that such property would be sealed-off according to the order signed by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Lands and Surveys, which is in line with the Town Planning and the Urban and Regional Planning Laws of the state.
All owners of such affected property in the state are by this announcement, advised to be guided accordingly.
