The Human Rights Pathfinders Association has called for the establishment of National Electoral Offences Commission.
On Thursday in Delta, The Chairman, Comr. Ejikeme Augustine Eloka, said work on the country’s electoral process would remain incomplete if electoral offenders continue to walk freely.
The bill if passed into law will solve problems affecting our electoral system as many offenders will be punished by the commission.
We call on the law makers to see this call as a service to the nation because our electoral system has been messed up by the so called political gladiators who believes in rigging elections by all means.
With the establishment of this commission vote buying becomes a crime punishable by law.
