Otovwodo (Agbassa) Community in Warri South Local Government Area has pledged its support for the police in tackling the problem of insecurity in the area.
The pledge was parts of the resolutions taken at a joint security meeting between selected leaders of the community and heads of local vigilante groups in the area in Otovwodo (Agbassa) Community, Warri at the weekend
It was also resolved that there would be regular security patrol by a combine squad of the community security outfit and the local vigilante groups.
It was further resolved that criminals should relocate from the area immediately after the meeting.
Those present at the meeting were the Oghwuvwie of the community, Jasper Ope Osioh, the Chairman of the community, Mr Precious Bazunu (convener), and the Chairman Central Committee of local vigilante groups in Warri South Local Government Area, Elder Eddy Oniovosa, among others
