The Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel, in Ughelli, the administrative headquarters of Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, last Sunday donated food items and money to hundreds of needy members and non-members.
The exercise, which witnessed a large turnout of people, was part of activity to mark the last phase of her Good Samaritan Sunday, an annual philanthropic gesture of the ministry.
The resident pastor of the church, Caleb Olubiyi, announced during the church service that members and non-members invited to church, who needed food items and money should wait after the service so they can attend to them.
The food items and money were earlier realized from the contribution of church members, who were in the past weeks directed to bring nonperishable food items, clothing materials and money, for distribution to members and non-members.
Before the distribution, Pastor Olubiyi, stated that the aim of the exercise was to assist members and non-members, who find it difficult to provide food for their families.
He thanked and blessed all who contributed in one way or the other, saying that their giving would surely be rewarded by God.
