The Human Rights Pathfinders Association, HURPA has urge the Delta State governor elect, RT Honourable Sheriff Oborevwori to make Human Right his priority as the leader of the state.
This was disclosed by the National Chairman and Executive Director, Comr. Ejikeme Augustine Eloka during induction of new members, News Desk Paper reports.
Comr. Ejikeme Augustine Eloka raises concern on how the right of citizens are been violated without no one to speak on their behalf.
He further urge the governor elect to look into the activities of the civil servant and their corrupt act.
Many civil servant in quest of money has violated the civil service etiquette hereby abusing the right of the citizens of the state whenever they demand for government services through them.
Ministries are now doing other ministries jobs because they want money. They even take innocent citizens who refuse to pay to court and find a way to convict them by bribing officials.
Many have been unjustly intimidated using the judiciary, Police and Vigilante. Many have been sent to prison and many inhumane treatment.
We urge you to bring sanity into the system by promoting human rights and bringing violators to justice.
