This is to draw the attention of the management of SEEPCO and the general public that the meeting agreed to be held between the oil spillage affected host community and SEEPCO on 19 January, 2023 has no venue and time yet despite the promise by the management during the last peaceful protest.
Till date no venue and time has been approved for the meeting, and the water treatment plants process not even outlined.
We urge SEEPCO to fixed venue and time for the meeting so that oil spillage and other related issues affecting the host communities can be put to rest.
We congratulate and are aware of the newly installed CSD drilling machine which is a boost to your expansion in the oil industry, but be assured that we no longer can with-hold the cruelty of Environmental Pollution and degradation as we see it, as SEEPCO Failing in their Investment Obligation and Protection Act.
We only seek to ensure our demands are met as there is no excuse to break the Oil & Gas Extant Laws.
Lastly we remind about the Pipeline Protection Fee plus Arrears Specially for Okpai Citizens is yet to be paid, as well the agreed monetization for the Clean Water.
15 years Oil Spill Pollution is No Joke, our Land has favoured your Company, it’s fine to reciprocate!!!
We use this medium to call on Ndokwa sons and daughters home and abroad, Delta State government and the federal government to compel the company to do the needful.
We wish everyone Happy New Year, let’s continue to stay healthy, as this is happening in our Time!
Ani-Ndokwa but Ani-oma!!!
Ndokwa Land deserves the very Best!!!
We say No-to-Pollution !!!
