A former Commissioner and, Chief Lawrence Oshiegbu has described Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as a man who has a large heart for the advancement of Deltans.
Chief Oshiegbu made the assertion shortly after elected as the national delegate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Ika North East chapter.
According to him, Deltans will continue to talk about Governor Okowa for a very long time because of the huge developmental legacies in the state.
“From the very beginning of his administration has always heeded to the yearning of the people. Indeed, he has done well across the state” he stated
Speaking further, he averred the state will continue to thrive when someone that was mentored by Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa succeeds him in 2023.
“Governor Okowa has stirred this State to great heights and for continuity purposes he should be allowed to appointment who takes over from him” he stated
Continuing, Chief Oshiegbu charged delegates from the local government to consider fairness and equity during the forthcoming Primaries.
In his remarks, the Chairman of PDP Ika North East Chapter Rt. Hon. Chukwudi Agboma, while congratulating Chief Oshiegbu, he also declared the Chairman of the physically challenged persons Ika North East chapter as the second national delegate to represent area in Abuja.
