The immediate past President General of Uvwie General Improvement Union (UGIU) Chief Austin Tivere Ukuwrere has asserted that projects executed by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa will stand the test of time.

He made the assertion in a media interaction with newsmen on the 31st year anniversary of the creation of Delta State in Effurun Uvwie Local Government Area last weekend.

Ukuwrere stated that all the projects executed by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa so far were outstanding in terms of quality before the emergence of the governor.

“If you ask me to list some of the achievements so far recorded since the creation of Delta State, I will say the execution of quality projects by Governor Okowa’s administration is one of them.

“For they will stand the test of time even if he has left office. He (Governor Okowa) is the Ogbemudia of Delta State,” he said.

The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Governor Okowa on Community Development listed the Effurun Technical College, rehabilitation of Ugbomro-Iteregbi Road, rehabilitation of Airport Road Junction, ongoing rehabilitation of Jakpa Junction, and the ongoing execution of flood control in Effurun, among others in Uvwie Local Government Area to substantiate his claim.

He emphasized that the said projects will stand the test of time
