Senior pastor of Awaiting The Second Coming Of Jesus Christ Ministry, Adewale Giwa has disclosed the reasons why he can’t support governor Rotimi Akeredolu’s second term ambition.
He said nonody could believe that governor Akeredolu would treat the people of Ondo state like animals.
According to the cleric, if you treat people like animals, they will respond like animals.
Giwa specifically faulted governor Akeredolu on education, describing the exorbitant school fees placed on students at tertiary institutions as insane.
Besides, the pastor also expressed disappointment on the administration of governor Akeredolu for abandoning series of moribund industries in the state.
“I am not a pretender, and I want to believe that the people of Ondo state deserve the best. In a situation where a governor deliberately increased the tuition fees from 25,000 to N150,000 or N180,000 is insane.
“If he had rigged himself in, I believe the electorate are there to do justice to whatever or whoever they must have imposed on them.
“I have said it that he can only get his way back through an indirect primary.
“We have more than 10 moribund industries in the state that are begging for attention. At least, if you want to really help the state to develop, the first is to revamp whatever you can to create employment for the people.
“I don’t have anything against governor aside what I have enumerated. I believe if he fails to address the issues, another person is capable to bring smiles to people’s faces,” he stated.
